What is credit ?

When you obtain money, an item, or a service on credit, you commit to pay it back later—usually with interest. We now utilize credit to purchase a wide range of items, from houses and vehicles to food and apparel. 


Credit may be a valuable instrument if used carefully. If you don't, though, you'll have to deal with certain bad effects that will make your life more difficult.

What is a  credit score?

Your credit score is a three-digit number on a scale of 300 to 850 that indicates your creditworthiness, or how well you manage credit and how much you can be trusted to repay what you borrow. Potential lenders will use this number to determine which credit cards and loans to offer you. The higher the score, the better the overall deal.

What is consider a good or bad credit score?

In general, there are five credit score tiers. Anything above 670 is considered good credit; anything below 670 is considered poor or only fair credit.
